Is News Trading Allowed?

At RWC Capital Funding, we understand that economic events and high-impact news can create significant market opportunities, but they also present additional risks. That’s why we’ve established clear rules for trading during these events.

Rules for trading during news in the Instant Account:

  1. Restriction 10 minutes before and after major events:

    • In the Instant Account, you cannot open or close trades 10 minutes before or 10 minutes after a major economic event. This restriction aims to prevent extreme fluctuations and high volatility during these events from negatively impacting your positions.
  2. Trading during news:

    • It is allowed to keep trades open during an economic event, as long as the trade was opened outside the 10-minute restriction window before or after the event.

Why do we have this rule?

These restrictions are designed to protect both your capital and the integrity of the program. We know that economic events can be unpredictable and cause rapid price movements, so we want to ensure that traders are not affected by sudden moves that are outside of their strategy.

If you have any questions or are unsure if a specific event falls under these rules, feel free to contact our support team. We are here to help you navigate the market safely and successfully.
